Some of the country’s math wizards buckled down to do serious work giving their period of Extended Community Quarantine at home a more engaging mental activity during the first online summer training program under the expert hands of the MTG Philippines. This year, a considerable number of trainees are invited to the one-month training program dubbed as Mathematical Skill Advancement Training Course of the Philippine Brain Skills Innovation Group, Inc (PhilBrain).     Undaunted by the challenge, the math aces as young as grade 3 and the older graders will begin their summer holidays hooking on mindboggling math problems amidst the COVID19 pandemic. Students to join math and science contest revealed

The young Filipino mathletes, ready for mental battle, are now set to embark on another math contest, this time is the Asian Science and Mathematics Olympiad (ASMO) International Competition 2019 scheduled to be held in Changsha City, Hunan Province, China on November 29 – December 3, 2019. The ASMO is open to students with ages from 10 to 14 years old by November 2019. Filipino math aces to compete in 2019 WMTC revealed

Another group of Filipino math wizards have been chosen to participate in the 2019 World Mathematics Team Championship (WMTC) 2019 which will be held in Beijing, China on November 21-25, 2019. These mathletes geared with math skills plus strong and winning spirits will finally meet face to face with their equally well-trained foreign challengers in a contest aimed at strengthening and advancing their understanding in mathematics, and promoting friendship not just among students but also among teachers.
