PH mathletes readies for ASMO Math

More than a thousand Filipino math students from various schools in the country have registered to participate in the 2019 ASMO Mathematics which will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019, 9:00 am – 10:00 am in selected MTG Center nationwide. The tests for the preliminary round of the contest will consist of  25 items. The tests are the same for all the participants of a category. The participants are reminded of the following things: Be at the contest venue at 8:30AM for the registration. Bring your school ID for identification, use only 2B pencil. Calculators are not permitted. Filipino math aces grab 29 medals in China math contest – 3D Cup

The Philippine math wizards made it again, bringing home awards and prizes from the 3D Cup Pan Asia Math Competition held in Xi’an, China on July 26 – 30, 2019. The math prowess of our Filipino math wizards was a show of force heaving a total of 3 gold, 6 silver and 20 bronze medals. This year, an amazing feat was the back-to-back wins of the Salazar brothers from the Philippine Science High School – Bicol campus. Adrian Richard C. Salazar and Jose Carlo C. Salazar walked away with a gold medal each. Standing at par with the Salazar’s was Breann Jean V. NCR mathletes send-off training at AU

 Please be informed that all students from the NCR and adjacent areas who are officially members of the Philippine teams in the different international mathematics competitions are advised to attend the  send-off training which started last Saturday, July 6, 2019 and every Saturday thereafter at Arellano University Main Campus, Legarda, Manila.   The Saturday training will be from 9am to 4pm until the last Saturday before the departure date.     For provincial participants, training materials will be emailed to them by the focal person of the assigned competition.
