Gold! Gold! Gold! Gold! The battle is over, it is won by the Filipino math wizards who bare it all, this time, amassing a whopping thirty one gold awards in the 2020 New Century Hope Cup Math Invitational Competition held online last September 12, 2020.
Once again, the Philippine team has showcased the might of its number prowess after having garnered a total of hundred forty eight awards, broken down into31 gold, 49 silver, 56 bronze and 12 merit awards. With these awards, they obviously have not set out to beat the world, but set out to do their absolute best to be the finest in the contest.
Our Filipino math warriors whose analytical minds have achieved more for the Philippines have expressed their pride in creative numerical abilities that gave a whiff of brilliance befitting the young Filipino mathematicians.
The contest gathered more than three thousand whiz kids from Hong Kong, Japan, India, Macau, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, and 4 provinces from mainland China.
