Filipino students win in Stage 2 KGL English Contest
Fifty-three Filipino students won awards in the Stage 2 of the 2021 KGL English Contest, which was conducted on March 20, 2021. The Philippine team wrapping up the competition with five 1st places, five 2nd places, five 3rd places, 31 achievement and 7 commendation certificates sent a strong message of their excellence in the English language. The MTG trainees must open their email at least 10 minutes before the scheduled examination time to access the link to the online questionnaires. Valdez and Te earn perfect scores in CREST Math Olympiad
For many students, the two most dreaded words in the English language are "math test." Not so for Gabriel James Valdez, grade 5 from Merryland Montessori and High School, Inc., and Jerome Austin N. Te, grade 6, from Jubilee Christian Academy who obtained an impeccable performance in the Final Round of CREST Math Olympiad conducted online in January 2021. Though both obtained perfect scores, Valdez is placed first in the international rank while Te is third since there were two participants from other countries who finished few minutes ahead of him in their grade group.
