Filipino Students grab top spots in KGL English Int’l contest

After a long hiatus due to the extraordinary circumstances resulting from the global spread of COVID19, the International Testing Authority (ITA), the organizer of the KGL International English Language Competition revealed the results of the 2nd stage of the said contest participated in by the Philippines last March 7, 2020.   The ITA disclosure showed that fourteen Filipino students aced the competition by obtaining the top three spots, 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, 95 others bagged the commendation award and 14 reaped the certificates of achievement.   The current uncertainties surrounding the present realities compelled ITA to postpone the KGL Global Event which was due to take place from 4-6 June 2020 in Amiens, France. PhilBrain to send mathletes to join “NEW Hope Cup”

PhilBrain discloses aspirants to join the training course

Some of the country’s math wizards buckled down to do serious work giving their period of Extended Community Quarantine at home a more engaging mental activity during the first online summer training program under the expert hands of the MTG Philippines. This year, a considerable number of trainees are invited to the one-month training program dubbed as Mathematical Skill Advancement Training Course of the Philippine Brain Skills Innovation Group, Inc (PhilBrain).     Undaunted by the challenge, the math aces as young as grade 3 and the older graders will begin their summer holidays hooking on mindboggling math problems amidst the COVID19 pandemic. Amidst the COVID-19 spread which the World Health Organization has elevated to a global pandemic and with the increasing number of suspected and confirmed corona virus cases in the Philippines which prompted Malacañang to impose the NCR lockdown under Code Red Sublevel 2, the MTG Philippines would like to inform everyone that the 2020 “In-House” will still go on BUT via ONLINE TRAINING ONLY viewable at a certain designated site on a specific time.
